Considered as one of the most beautiful destinations in South America, the city of Cusco is that and much more without a doubt, even, perhaps it is the most tourist city and important cities of Peru, It is visited: The Koricancha Temple, Sacsayhuaman , Qenqo Puca Pucara and Tamboy Machay
Koricancha was the most important Inca temple, also known as "Temple of the Sun", where the Inca god Inti paid homage to the Inca. It has a unique architecture.
Sacsayhuaman, is located north of the main square of the city of Cusco, Sacsayhuaman is considered one of the greatest architectural works that the Incas made during its apogee.
The archaeological center of Qenqo, is not so far from Sacsayhuaman, only separated one kilometer. This place was a ceremonial center, this conclusion is reached because there is a kind of giant monolith, perhaps it was the fiugure of an animal, a toad, an animal that has a relationship with the rains, and that was another of the deities of the Incas.
Puka pukara is located 10 minutes from the archaeological center of Qenqo in the same direction, about 7 km from the city of Cusco. Puca Pucara is another clear example of Inca military architecture, it also functioned as an administrative center that invites us to walk along sidewalks, overlapping terraces, staircases and passages through which mythical characters of the Inca empire traveled.
The tour ends with a magnificent visit to the archaeological site of Tambomachay, located 2 minutes from Puka Pukara, (9 kilometers away from the city). It was an Inca sanctuary that was destined for the cult to the water reason why it was a place reserved exclusively for the Inca. After the guided the bus will return to the city of Cusco at approximately 18:30 hours.
